At Forest Haven we know that quality resident care is no accident. Our facility is one of Louisiana’s most innovative leaders in quality long term care and often exceeds the expectations one might have of a nursing facility. Forest Haven is continually working to upgrade and improve its services. We are the first facility in our area to have an in-house nurse practitioner and we lead our profession in the use of electronic medical records.
Amenities include carpeted private and semi-private suites, arts and crafts center, a beautiful in-house chapel, in-house rehabilitation and gym, beautifully landscaped grounds with walking paths, and multiple day rooms for a quiet afternoon show, a lively LSU ballgame or an evening of cards or dominoes.
Our rehabilitation programs, including physical, speech and occupational therapy, officer our residents the opportunity of returning to their greatest degree of independence, with many able to return to their own homes. At Forest Haven, we are committed to Improving Quality of Life.
