Forest Haven Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC. Is conveniently located in a quiet residential area of Jonesboro just minutes away from hospital services, doctors’ offices and the offices of other health professionals. The warm and friendly atmosphere experienced here reflects the long tradition of quality care that was begun long ago by Mrs. Myra Carter … a tradition based upon our belief that what counts most in a nursing facility is resident care.
At Forest Haven we know that quality resident care is no accident. It is the result of a team of professionals working together and committed to providing the very best in quality care with a goal of constant improvement. Our facility is one of Louisiana’s most innovative leaders in quality long term care and often exceeds the expectations one might have of a nursing facility. Forest Haven is continually working to upgrade and improve its services. We are the first facility in our area to have an in-house nurse practitioner and we lead our profession in the use of electronic medical records.
Amenities include carpeted private and semi-private suites, arts and crafts center, a beautiful in-house chapel, in-house rehabilitation and gym, beautifully landscaped grounds with walking paths, and multiple day rooms for a quiet afternoon show, a lively LSU ballgame or an evening of cards or dominoes.
Our rehabilitation programs, including physical, speech and occupational therapy, officer our residents the opportunity of returning to their greatest degree of independence, with many able to return to their own homes. At Forest Haven, we are committed to Improving Quality of Life.

On Patriot Day, take a moment for quiet reflection, engage in a mindful activity like a peaceful walk or quiet contemplation, to honor the day.
Patriot Day, observed annually on September 11th, is a day of remembrance in the United States. It commemorates the nearly 3,000 lives lost during terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and on United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.
