Mother, at the age of 96, is in her 3rd year of residency at Forest Haven. While I cannot say that this placement is just like home, I can attest that the residents here are loved and cared for and it is, without a doubt, as close as you can get if you are faced with the difficult decision of making this change for your loved one.
I’ve dealt with several nursing facilities over the past 10 years in three parishes. Some were less than ideal, some were okay up to a certain point. We have found a place that, in my honest opinion, serves my wife and I beyond what I expected. I feel comfortable when I leave each day trusting the CNA’s, the nurses, and staff to take good care of my wife. I thank Sandra Billings and Steve Williams for doing things for us that I really didn’t expect. They are definitely looking out for the patients, and I thank them for it all.
We chose Forest Haven for our loved one based on recommendations and touring the facility, and we believe we made the absolute best choice possible.
The facility is clean, safe, and well maintained. The residents are treated with skill, love, and kindness from the precious staff, who take extra steps to keep the family informed about their care.
Our family is grateful for Forest Haven; the care they give our loved one means the world to us.
